The Spence Trailer Lock is a Patented trailer theft deterrent system. The patent was granted on October 23, 2007; #7,284,641 B1. The idea was to design a trailer locking system that was easy to adjust, install, and use. The Spence Trailer Lock is currently available in two models:  For the recreational market, we offer the STL-1SA, while for the commercial, three-axle tractor market, we have the STL-2C. 

All locks are made of 6061-T6 polished aluminum, and the STL-1SA model weighs less than 18 pounds, while the STL-2C weighs less than 25 pounds.  Each lock assembly comes complete with all the needed hardware except the padlock.  For that, we recommend using the Master Lock #37D, M187XKAD, or 605 DAT.

Additional features include warning strips on either side. The warning strips call attention to the lock, saying to a potential thief that the trailer is protected against theft.
