Design Features
· Unit is producible from aluminum and features top and bottom sections · Top section measures 6-5/8 to 8-1/2 inches long, and the bottom section measures 7-1/8 to 8-3/4 inches long · Top section is rectangular with rounded cutouts at the lower edges to contact the upper inside portion of the trailer’s tires · Bottom section is rectangular with rounded cutouts at the upper edges to contact the lower inside portion of the tires · Surfaces facing the tires feature a non-skid coating · The two sections attach to one another with a strap that measures 2 inches wide, 12 inches long, and 1/4 inch thick; strap is welded to the lower section, passes through the top section, and attaches to the top section with a lock · Various adjustment options at the top of the strap enable the user to insure that the unit fits snugly · User places the bottom section between the trailer’s tires, places the upper portion over the strap, and slides it down until snug; user inserts the lock into a hole on the upper section · Trailer tires are immobilized until the user unlocks and removes the unit
