Welcome to Spence Trailer Safety Lock!

By California Vehicle Supply

The Spence Trailer Safety Lock is a Patented trailer safety and theft deterrent system. The patent was granted on October 23, 2007; #7,284,641 B1. The idea was to design a trailer locking system that was easy to adjust, install, and use. The Spence Trailer Safety Lock is available in three models: for the recreational market, the STSL-1SA and the STSL-1DA; and for the commercial, three axle tractor market, there is the STSL-2. All locks are made of 5051 aluminum; STSL-1 models weigh less than 16 pounds, the STSL-2 weighs less than 25 pounds.  Each lock assembly comes complete with all the needed hardware and padlock.

Our Incredible Safety Lock

Additional features include powder coating in Safety Yellow and non-skid tire contact surfaces. The Safety Yellow was chosen for two reasons: 1) it is bright and calls attention to itself saying to a thief that the trailer is protected against theft; and 2) powder coating protects the lock against the elements.  All tire contact surfaces are coated with a non-skid material that will enhance the locks usefulness as an anti-theft device. The additional grip will reduce tire slippage preventing both pulling the trailer or the tires slipping should the lock be used as tire chocks for any roadside emergency or shop repairs.

California Vehicle Supply (C.V.S.) is the exclusive distributor for the Spence Trailer Safety Lock. At the present time C.V.S. is researching a locking system for single axle, recreational trailers and dual axle commercial tractors. C.V.S. is also working with commercial insurance companies, and it is hoped an insurance endorsement will be available. California Vehicle Supply and the Spence Trailer Safety Lock are insured for both general and product liability. Each lock fully guaranteed against any defects in workmanship and comes with a 100% money back guarantee.
